GAMING: My Favourite Mobile Games #1 (YB)

Something new I thought I'd start blogging about is my favourite games. Starting with my favourite games I play on my mobile phone. I spend a lot of time playing games, so it felt right to blog about them.

The game I've been playing most often is called The Walking Dead: Road To Survival. I've been playing for over a year and run my own faction in the game called Extraterrestrials (feel free to apply to join if you're a regular player and we have an open space!).

If you're a fan of just the TV programme, be warned, the characters are not from the TV show and are instead from the comics, though you will find some familiar characters like Rick, Michonne, Ezekiel, Abraham, Maggie, Dwight, Tyreese, Lori, Siddiq, Carl, Glenn, The Governor and Negan to name but a few.

For those of you who are fans of the comics and/or Telltale series of games, maybe more familiar to you would be Javier, Clementine, Kenny, Tripp and Lee to name just a small amount.

You can battle in the World Map or Roadmap. Every day you can take part in the Survival Road, but be careful, if you don't complete a stage within 7 days, you drop back a stage.

There are regular solo events - Level Up, Raids and Tournament Road (a special edition Survival Road).

If you are part of a faction, you can take part in faction events - Level Up, Raids, Tournament Road, All Out War, Cross Region War, Faction Assault and the ongoing Territories.

You get various characters - 1*, 2*, 3*, 4* and 5*, but there are also some ascendable 5* characters that you can use ascendance medals to turn into 6* characters that have special active skills. Some characters (any * rating) have a specialist skill or leader skill.

There also combat mods that you can add to your characters to give them additional powers/resists.

The game is very good, very enjoyable, but sometimes the greed of the creators, Scopely, ruin the game a little, when they make it near impossible to progress in the game without spending a fortune! Myself and my faction are free (or nearly free) players and we just work our arses off to do well and help each other out to make our teams the best we can and get rewards from faction events. They have been a bit more generous recently, but there is still a lot of pressure to buy, buy, buy.

Anyway, if you're a fan of The Walking Dead and you've not yet played this game, you should give it a go! If you need any help, just drop a comment below or send me a message in the game - my name in the game is {ET} Yvonne.

There are various servers, so if you join and want to message me in game or join my faction, make sure you go in the game settings and change to the Ben Hill region.

COMPING: Win Prizes & Get Fit With Snatch! (YB)

I've just come across a fab new app that's perfect for us compers!

And maybe an even bigger bonus if you're a fan of the Pokemon Go and fitness!

Snatch is a fab app I've just come across that let's you walk around whenever you're out & about (or you could go out just to do this!) and collect virtual parcels.

You have to try and keep hold of your parcels for 6 hours - if you manage to keep hold of them without another nearby member snatching it off you, then you get to open it - the boxes contain prizes - anything from the in-game coins which help you get & keep hold of parcels to things like flights, cash, games consoles and more!made

It's a similar idea to Pokemon Go, except instead of catching virtual made up pet-like creatures, you're getting parcels which might contain amazing prizes!

Not to forget the potential health benefits... An excuse to get you out of the house and on the move - you'll be getting fit as you walk around finding parcels and trying to snatch other peoples parcels!

You can buy coins in games that give you benefits - you can use them to snatch other peoples parcels,  you can use them to defend your own parcels from being snatched, you can make yourself invisible from people trying to snatch parcels and so on and so forth...

If you like the sound of it and want to give it a go, why not download the app on your phone and please use my referral code (CTM1XW) as then I will get some free coins to use in game.

COMPING: Get Paid To Enter Competitions With Lucky Leftovers (YB)

Recently, I saw a comper friend post about finding this and thought I'd give it a go...

You can basically get paid to enter free competitions!

First of all, you need to have an android capable mobile phone though, as you need to download the app in order to use this. As far as I can tell, it's not yet available on iOS though.

I've been using Lucky Leftovers for a couple of weeks now, it's great if you're on a contract and have unlimited text messages. You can enter competitions for free as the phone number to enter via is a standard mobile number so is inclusive if you've got unlimited free texts.

You get points for every competition you enter and every 5,000 points is worth either £5 cash via PayPal or a £5 Amazon voucher. I've so far received 2 £5 payments successfully via PayPal...

Plus there are loads of great prizes to be won like an XBox One Kinect bundle (the one I'm hoping I win!), theatre tickets, digital camera, DVDs, cash, vouchers and loads more!. I've not yet won a prize, but I have received 2 payments from them!

Check them out here (you're best off going to the link on your mobile phone so you can download the app)... https://get-luc.ky/leftovers/app/share-u24187-r4
